Nagham Debal, Syrian musician, composer and Singer, is the first female Qanun player in Dubai ,which presents the Arabic Culture in her Instrument (the Qanun)
Nagham is highly achieved and creative lady, she graduated with Bachelor Degree in Architecture.
She is famous in performing Arabic traditional songs, several modern songs of the middle east, and Western Music with wide range of styles
Although, Nagham is a professional Solo Qanun Player, nevertheless, she excels in working with group of musicians and bands of different music rhythm and Style. As a result, with the help of her brothers she created the Trio Debal Band involving Basel (oud) and Zaid (Piano).
Parts of Nagham’s diverse achievements is being chosen to perform in the World Government Summit, Dubai 2016 and again in the Global Infrastructure Congress, Dubai 2018. Nevertheless, She performed in several festivals in UAE and middle east: Dubai shopping festival 2010-2018, JBR musical festival 2018, Sharjah musical festival 2009-2018, and also choir festival in Lebanon 2016. Moreover, Ms. Debal performed in several luxury weddings, prestigious hotels, and Public or private events.
She had performed and played on the most important tv channels in UAE: MBC ,MBC Al Arabiya, alan TV, Al Fujairah, AlSharqeya , also on MBC panorama FM (Radio). She has a full episode on the TV show Azifat on Abudhabi TV ,which speaks about the relation of her creative art and music.
Many magazines spoke about her artistic life, a big example is being in the cover page and having a full article in Friday Magazine with Her younger Brother Basel (oud player) July 2018.
Nagham started comping music in a very young age, in which she made her first music when she was at the age of nine. One of her greatest compositions is operate “AlShaheed” for the ‘Youm al Shaheed’ day which was presented in Ajman University and took the pleasure to sing it in the presence of his highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi the crown prince of Ajman. Another top song is ‘Ya Emmi’ written by Hala Harb for the purpose of Mother’s Day.
